HANDA FRUIT TASTING
Today we chopped up a ripe, red mango and enjoyed tasting the sweet fruit - some of us for the first time. We will be putting it on our shopping lists from now on.

The Tiger who came to Amazing Acorns
After reading the book The Tiger who came to Tea by Judith Kerr, we had a secret visit from a tiger. He ate all the food and drank all the drinks he could find and left an awful lot of rubbish behind. We decided he needed to be taught some manners so we sent him an invitation to a tea party. We made sandwiches, baked a cake and poured him a healthy glass of milk. It was lovely having the tiger come to visit and by the time he left we had taught him how to be GOLDEN and SPARKLY!
We are ARTISTS
We looked at paintings by the famous artist Rousseau and were inspired to create our own jungle artwork. We used lots of different techniques including pastels, chalks, handpainting, line drawing and collage. We are extremely proud of the results.
