We are Historians

Autumn 1

We will be looking at the changes over time in an event of our own locality. We will be looking at the Goose Fair and how it has changed over time.

Spring 1

We will be exploring how modes of transport and travel have changed during living memory. We will focus on the change to cars, trains and planes, as well as thinking about what might come in the future. We will discuss the importance of these changes on our lives today.

Summer 2

We will be linking our learning with our theme and learning about significant individuals who have made a change in History.

We will be delving deeper into learning about the lives and work of Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell.
