Summer 2

Welcome to Summer 2!

We are in the final half term! And what a busy term it will be. The children have completed their phonics screening check and we couldn't be more proud of them. The children have worked so hard and me and Mrs Fowler are so pleased with all the progress the children have made. We are also going to be very busy with transition and getting the children ready to move up into Year 2!

WE ARE WRITERS

The children are trying so hard in their writing and having the perseverance to write more as well as remembering full stops, capital letters, finger spaces and reading their work back to check for mistakes. This term the children have written poems, stories and even a letter to their new Year 2 teacher.

WE ARE MATHEMATICIANS!

Bonsais are now becoming super confident in their arithmetic skills and are able to apply these skills in other areas of maths. Very are super quick at their doubles and halves up to 20 and can now count in 2s, 5s and 10s to help them solve mathematical problems!
