Welcome to the Blossoming Bluebells class page

for children who attend our nurture group.

We are  Golden and we Sparkle

With things currently being a little bit different, we have updated our class page in order of our usual daily routine.

Please feel free to email us with any questions, photos and work you have been doing at home.

Bluebells@gladehill.nottingham.sch.uk

We will add some ideas to do at the bottom of the page and via MarvellousMe each Friday.

We start our day with dough disco,

this helps warm up our fingers for the busy day ahead.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K-CQrjI0uY

Our dough recipe: mix 1 cup of flour and half cup of salt, add half a cup of water

and a teaspoon of oil (can also add food colouring) and mix.

We enjoy making our own dough disco videos get your dough,

turn on your favourite song and have some fun.

Maths time!

In literacy this term we have been reading

There's a Monster In Your Book!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHx_kn6MG7k

We practiced using bossy verbs to give instructions to our friends. We have been reading them while we have been baking and then writing lists and instructions of how to do our favourite activities.

When we have had lunch we listen to a story as a group

and then share a book one-one.

In the afternoon we enjoy exploring with our senses

and learning lots of key life skills.

Hello Bluebells, we hope you are enjoying showing your parents all of your work in your homework packs.

This week your home challenge is to explore water, how can you make it a different colour? What cups hold the most water? What happens if you put it in the freezer? We have had lots of fun exploring this at school this week we hope you have fun at home too.

Dont forget to keep reading and practicing your letter sounds and counting.

Please email  a picture to us and we will add them to our class page.

We have also added some work to purple mash, and would like

you to show your grown ups how to do some cosmic yoga.
