We are Golden and we SPARKLE
We want our children to look smart when at school and feel proud to wear their uniform. We expect all children to wear school uniform every day.
Our uniform policy is outlined below. Ideally we would like all of our children to wear a school jumper or cardigan carrying our logo and these can be purchased via the School Office or from Just-Schoolwear. All other items can be purchased from any High Street store or supermarket. We also offer optional Glade Hill book-bags, PE bags, PE kit and fleeces which can be ordered or purchased from the School Office. New starters will be given further details by the School Office so they can order or buy uniform ahead of their start date.
We have items of second-hand uniform available for parents.
Please contact the School Office for additional information.
The details of the school uniform are:
Our uniform is smart and serviceable and creates a sense of belonging. It also reduces disagreements at home about school clothing and avoids upset at school caused by children comparing clothes and current fashions. It also demonstrates our commitment to treat everyone as equal.

The items marked with an asterisk(*) above are available for purchase from the school office along with other optional items such as fleeces, reversible jackets and bags.
Uniform can also be purchased from Just-Schoolwear located at 12 High Street, Arnold.
Please Note:
Fashion clothes and sportswear are not allowed in school. High heeled footwear and open-toe sandals or flip-flops are unsuitable and can be dangerous. Heelys and rollerskate shoes are also unsuitable to be worn in school. Children can easily injure themselves or others.
Jewellery & Make-up
The wearing of any jewellery and make-up is NOT ALLOWED in school. We cannot accept responsibility for injuries caused by the wearing of jewellery or for any jewellery lost or stolen. All jewellery, make-up, nail varnish, false nails etc should be removed before sending your child to school.
The only exception is if your child has their ears pierced then they can wear one pair of small stud earrings whilst at school. However, these will have to be removed or taped up for PE and are not allowed at all for Swimming. If your child is unable to remove these themselves then please remove them at home on the appropriate days.
Please ensure that if you are planning on having your child's ears pierced this is done during the Summer Holidays so it does not exclude them from PE or Swimming which are both important parts of the school curriculum.
