White Post Farm Roadshow!

To end our learning all about animals in Science we had a visit from White Post Farm. They brought a range of different animals and we got to hold or stroke all of them. We learnt lots about each individual animal, alongside how to care for them as pets.

Robin Hood Day!

To end our History Week learning all about the legend of Robin Hood, Year 1 children were invited to come to school dressed as a character from Robin Hood. We made Robin Hood and Maid Marian hats, went on a Merry Men adventure to the woods to collect sticks, and even created our own bow and arrows! We ended the day making target biscuits and watching the Disney version of Robin Hood. We had so much fun!
