The theme for Safer Internet Day this year is ‘An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world.’ 

We will be thinking about 'fake news' - something you may have heard about in the media.

On our Zoom call this week we will read 'Detective Digiduck', which shows how easily misinformation can be found online, and gives some hints and tips on how to check how reliable your information is.

You also have a challenge to complete on Purple Mash - I'd like you to design your own 'fake news' article! This can be about anything you like - check out Miss Sidebottom's example below! This activity shows how easily misinformation can be created and shared - so always check your sources!
