Spring 2

Welcome to Spring 2! We are so excited to welcome the children back to school. We have lots of exciting things to look forward to this term including, World Book Day, taking care of pet animals and learning all about the Great Fire of London.

A gentle reminder – We check reading diaries every Friday. Please read with your child at least 3 times a week and sign their reading diary. This will count towards them getting their Red Ted at the end of the term.

World Book Day

The children had a fantastic day exploring their love of reading. Our theme of the day was traditional tales. We explored the book Goldilocks, using the correct measurements to make our own porridge, created puppet shows to re-tell the story and then wrote our own version of the story.  

We are ARTISTS!

This term we are learning all about the artist Eric Carle. We have been creating different textures using paint. We used brushes, sponges and rollers.
