This week in Maths, we are going to be learning about area. We will build upon our knowledge of perimeter and use squares along with multiplication to help us calculate the area of a shape.
Monday
Please use the link to the video resource centre below and watch today's lesson. Once you have done this, please head over to My Maths and complete 'Introducing Area'.
Tuesday
Please head over to Purple Mash and complete today's task set. You will need to use the squares to help you find the area of the shapes. If you need more support with this, look back at yesterday's lesson.
Wednesday
Please head over to Purple Mash and complete today's task. You are going to be finding the area of a shape by using multiplication. Please look back at Monday's video for more support with this.
