We are Golden and we SPARKLE

Star of the Week

Each week I will be choosing two people from Fantastic Firs: one from school and one from someone working at home. We will be looking for children who SPARKLE. Have you tried your best this week? Have you been resilient? Have you been super self-motivated?

5.3.21

My in school Star of the Week this week is Alfie.

Alfie has been impressing me this week in both English and Maths. He has been working extra hard in his English to make sure he produces enough work each lesson. He has also been tackling some very tricky maths problems with resilience and enthusiasm. I am really pleased with Alfie's dedication to his learning!

My at home Star of the Week this week is Nikol

Nikol has been completing her work every single day to a really good standard. She is working incredibly hard at home and is always doing it with a smile on her face! She has been contributing to our zoom meetings and always offering her ideas to the group. Well done Nikol!

My in school Star of the Week this week is Arthur.

Arthur is always impressing his teachers by putting his hand up and contributing to class discussions. This shows his engagement with his learning and his enthusiasm for each and every lesson. We are blown away by his hard work at all times.

My at home Star of the Week this week is Mara-Jade.

Mara-Jade is trying extremely hard with her home learning and completes everything to the best possible standard she can. I have been impressed every week with her phenomenal art skills and she continues to blow me away with her writing. Mara-Jade has also worked really hard on her maths this week and has WOWed me with her efforts!

My in school Star of the Week this week is Alexis.

She is dedicated to her learning and puts her all into any task given to her. Yesterday she WOWed me with her fantastic diary entry which included everything I was looking for. She is an absolute super SPARKLEr! Keep up the hard work Alexis!

My at home Star of the Week this week is Abbiegail.

Abbiegail is always trying her hardest with her learning. She is dedicated and enthusiastic. She listens to instructions and completes her learning to a great standard. This week she has knocked my socks off with her fantastic writing. She is also extremely communicative over zoom and loves participating in discussions! Keep up the hard work Abbiegail!

My in school Star of the Week this week is Reniyah.

She is always trying her hardest with every piece of work and does everything with determination and a smile on her face! She has blown us away with her maths work as she tackles every problem with enthusiasm. Her descriptive writing about Stig has been lovely and she has thought of some brilliant words to describe Stig. Well done Reniyah!

My at home Star of the Week this week is Theo.

He has been dedicated to his learning at home and is completing his work to a good standard. He takes on board feedback and edits his work independently. He has shown real resilience with his writing and has produced a character description that includes expanded noun phrases and adverbs which we have worked on this week. Well done Theo, keep up the hard work!

29.1.21

My at home Star of the Week this week is Frank.

He has showed real resilience in his maths work this week. He originally sent me some tricky maths work that wasn't quite right but then learned from his mistakes and made it so much better! I can see in the pictures below how much he has improved! He has also worked really hard in all lessons and sent me lots of work this week. I am very impressed Frank - keep up the hard work!

My in school Star of the Week this week is Emily.

She is always trying her hardest with every piece of work and is very ambitious. She has showed real resilience this week in maths and has worked hard to correct her mistakes.

She has also been a superstar in PE and has gone home and practised the skills we have learned at school to improve before the next session. Well done Emily, keep up the hard work!
