CLASS PETS
We have loved finding out about what animals need to help them grow and to keep them healthy, safe and happy. We really enjoyed stroking the school guinea pigs and feeding Miss Beckett's tortoise, Tiny.
LITTLE RED HEN
After reading the story The Little Red Hen we decided to bake our own bread. We worked together to measure the ingredients then followed the instructions carefully to bake some delicious loaves of bread. It smelt amazing and tasted delicious. Well done everyone.
POND LIFE
As part of our work on Spring we have been thinking about frogs and finding out about life-cycles. Miss Jardine couldn't find any tadpoles in her pond, but she did find a couple of newts. We loved holding them and watching them swim around.
