Our policy for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) is shown below. This policy is updated annually in September and agreed by governors. The policy reflects the Code of Practice for SEND 2014 and the update in 2015.


Our Special Educational Needs and Disability Policy includes all of the information required by the SEN Information Report which is a requirement of the SEN Code of Practice 2014. An Inclusion and SEND achievement report is also provided annually by the Inclusion Leader.


This achievement report provides a summary of the achievement of children with Special Educational Needs or a Disability (SEND) at Glade Hill Primary and Nursery School during each academic year. A copy of the current report can be found below.

Our SEN/D Information report is usually published in January once all data has been received regarding results for children with SEN/D at Glade Hill so this can be compare accurately to national and local data. For the academic year 2019.20 and 2020.21 there was no statutory testing due to the C-19 Pandemic and therefore we are unable to report on that aspect of SEN/D achievement.
