To support our work on Newspaper reports, this week we will be practising using brackets for parenthesis in class.

Read through the PowerPoint attached here, and then have a go at adding brackets to each of the sentences on the worksheet.

You will need to write these out on plain paper.

There is an additional booklet to complete once you have finished this.

This week in Maths we are comparing fractions using diagrams.

On the worksheet attached, shade in the fraction shown on both diagrams. 

Then use a greater than > or less than < symbol to show which fraction is larger.
