We are Golden and we SPARKLE
Hi Super Cedars,
Well done for working really hard on your learning last week! In English this week you will be continuing to learn about and write non-chronological reports in Writing, and in Reading you will read the next two chapters of the story and answer the quizzes. In Maths, you will have your daily MyMaths lesson of new learning, and also two lessons on things we have already learnt. These are really important so that you don't forget the things you already know! Before you do MyMaths, please watch the PowerPoint video link below.
In Science you have a lesson on electrical circuit diagrams to complete. In History you need to read the information about 'The Battle of Britain' and then write an information text about it (both on Purple Mash). In PSHE you need to complete the 'All about me...' activity (Purple Mash). In Art you need to create a pencil sketch of an item to do with WWII- see the ideas below. You could also google a WWII drawing tutorial like the ones you did in class with Mrs Ozkaya. In DT I would like you to make a box model of a gas mask holder- this is a two week task. In RE you need to watch the PowerPoint video and teach someone 5 facts about Sikhism. Also, don't forget to watch the Picture News assembly!
Have a lovely week,
In this lesson, we will use the plan to write an opening paragraph. You will look closely at a modelled write to understand the expectations and write sentences that you plan to use in your opening. Please record on the Purple Mash sheet.
In this lesson, you will discuss the relationship between a feature and its purpose. You will look at the features of a panda and then generate vocabulary and sentences to create a plan for the next lesson. Please record on the Purple Mash sheet.
In this lesson, you will use the plan to write a paragraph on the panda's appearance. You will watch a shared write to understand the expectations and to see examples of different types of sentences and punctuation you could use. Please record on the Purple Mash sheet.
In this lesson, we will be learning how electrical circuits are represented as diagrams. We will learn the symbol for each component and draw our own circuit diagrams. You will need a pencil, a piece of paper and a ruler.
