School Term Dates

The documents below are the published term dates for all LA maintained schools in the City Council. Please note that 4 Inset Days per academic year are also taken. These will be published separately and as much notice as possible will be given to parents.

The Inset Days for 2022/23 are:

Monday 5 September 2022 - children return to school on Tuesday 6 September 2022

Wednesday 21 December 2022 - the last day of term for children will be Tuesday 20 December 2022.

2 further Inset Days will be notified later in the year.

Please note that an extra Bank Holiday has been given on Monday 8 May 2023 for the King's Coronation
