We are Golden and we SPARKLE
Once Upon A Tower
This term, our key texts in English are "Rapunzel" and “Robin Hood” by Bethan Woollvin.

Our key focus this half term is remembering capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in our writing as we move to writing full sentences. We will be starting the OTTO Club handwriting scheme this half term, focusing on supporting your child with forming their letters correctly and working on their core strength and fine motor finger skills.
In maths we will be focusing on forming numbers correctly and adding and subtracting numbers up to 10, as well as learning all about measuring length and height.
In science we will be learning all about the seasons and how outside changes in autumn and winter. We will be doing lots of outside learning in the woods on Mondays, please send your child in suitable footwear and clothing, especially as the weather turns colder!
In history we will be learning all about Robin Hood and we will be having a tower exhibition when parents and carers can come to see all of our hard work and learning – look out for keys dates soon.
In art we will be learning all about working with textiles, and in RE we will be looking at celebrations and special events, including Christmas!
In PE we are practicing throwing and catching and improving our movement skills, and in music we are learning about tempo.
