Thrive Session 6- Today's session was all about sleep. The children had a relaxing time making lavender sleep bags!
Trip to Harry Potter World- Monday 24th November
We had a magical time on our trip to Harry Potter World at the Warner Bros Studio Tour. All of the children had a fantastic time: flying broomsticks; walking through walls; and being attacked by fire-breathing dragons! Take a look at the photos below!
Thrive Session 2. Today's thrive session was all about HYDRATION. We had a great time adding fruits to make flavoured water.
Thrive Session 1. We had a great time in our first THRIVE session of the year, which focusses on leading healthy lives. Today's session was all about nutrition!
Stay and Learn session with parents- Wednesday 1st October
Today we invited our adults into the classroom to take part in a science lesson with us. The lesson was about blood and the components that are in it. We learned that it is made up of four different things- red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and plasma. We had fun making our own blood using different things such as cheerios! We learned about the functions of each of the components and then completed a quiz at the end of the lesson. We hope the adults enjoyed themselves, and maybe learned something new too!
