We are Golden and we SPARKLE
Dear Parents and Carers of Glade Hill,
I would like to wish you all a Happy Easter holidays and I hope you have enjoyed all the lovely activities we have had this half-term. What an amazing half-term it has been! It was great to see so many of you at our Parents Evenings and thank you for all your ongoing support for your children’s learning. Here are some of our fabulous, decorated eggs from across the school. We are also having an Eid celebration tonight after school and the FROGs are organising a toy swap. Thank you to everyone who has taken part and contributed.
The half-term’s theme ‘The Love of Books’ was amazing, involving parents, carers and our wider school community. These have included our reading challenges in school, paired class reading, extreme reading photos from home, book quizzes and also lots of exciting activities on World Book Day. Take a look at some photographs below.
Take a look as well at the amazing photos from the Year 3 Exhibition where they shared their learning about the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age with children, staff and parents/ carers across the school. The children all worked really hard to share their learning and we are very proud of them. We hope all the parents and carers who attended enjoyed it too.
Next half-term we have lots more exciting learning on offer that our staff are really looking forward to sharing with our children. So please make sure your children are in school as much as possible so they can benefit from this and make great progress.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and I wish you all a restful break.
Kindest regards,
Mrs Anna Stapleton - Headteacher
