We are Writers...

In English this half term, our learning will follow a theme of 'Nurturing Nurses' and our core text will be 'George's Marvellous Medicine' by Roald Dahl. We will be writing to entertain by writing a story inspired by the book and exploring performance poetry.

We are Mathematics...

In maths, we will be continuing to learn about fractions and exploring the unit of statistics. We will also be practising missing number problems. 

We are Scientists...

In science, we will be identifying and comparing the suitability of everyday materials, including wood, metal, plastic, glass, brick, rock, paper and cardboard for particular uses. 

We are Historians...

In history, we will learn about significant people who have made a chnage in history. We will be delving deeper into learning about the lives and work of Florence Nightingale, Mary Seacole and Edith Cavell.
